How do I sign in to Lift Right?
For: Everyone
A new organization starts with a 15-day free trial on the sign-up page, and the person who signs up becomes its first administrator. Everyone else is invited by email by an administrator of their organization and sets a password. After that you sign in with a 6-digit code emailed to you, with Google or Microsoft, or with your password. Where you land depends on your role: staff see a dashboard, participants see their Launch Pad.
How accounts are created
There are two ways in.
A new organization: someone starts a 15-day free trial on the sign-up page, with no card. That creates the organization and emails that person an invitation. When they accept it and set a password, they are the organization’s first administrator (Org Admin - Full).
Everyone after that: an administrator of the organization invites you by email from Users & Roles. There is no way to join an existing organization without an invitation.
Every invitation email contains a single-use link.
Accepting an invite:
Open the newest invite email and click the link. Links are single-use, and a resent invite replaces older ones, so always use the most recent email.
You arrive signed in but without a password. Set one first (minimum 8 characters).
After that you land in Lift Right. Two-step verification is optional and lives on the Security page (below).
If a link says it has expired or was already used, ask your admin to resend the invite and use the new email.
Signing in day to day
Enter your work email and we send a 6-digit code to it. No password needed. You can also continue with Google or Microsoft if that is the email on your account, or choose Sign in with a password instead.
You stay signed in on that browser until you sign out, or until the screen has had no activity for a while: 15 minutes unless your administrator has set a different number. A "Still there?" prompt appears two minutes before, so you can stay signed in with one click.
Two-step verification (MFA, multi-factor authentication)
Two-step verification is optional for every role. It adds a second check when you sign in: a six-digit code from an authenticator app.
Turning it on: open Security from the menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Turn on two-step verification. Scan the code with your authenticator app and enter the code it shows.
Day to day: sign in as usual (email code, Google, Microsoft, or password), then enter the current code from your authenticator app.
Passkeys: if you saved a passkey earlier, Sign in with a passkey is still on the password screen. It uses your fingerprint, face, or device PIN, and no code is needed.
Lost your device? Contact your administrator. An administrator can remove a saved passkey from Users & Roles (Reset passkey). After that you sign in with an emailed code, Google, Microsoft or your password. For an authenticator app, your administrator arranges the reset with Lift Right support, and you can turn it on again from Security afterwards.
Forgot your password?
On the sign-in screen choose Sign in with a password instead, then Forgot password?. Enter your work email, choose Send reset link, and follow the email.
