How does Lift Right handle privacy and safety?

  • Least access by default, for everyone except Lift Right itself. Caseworkers see their caseload; org data stays in the org. A Lift Right System Admin has direct access to every organization’s participant records, with no grant, expiry, or approval step.

  • Removing a person keeps their record. User removals are dated exits; a client is archived with a date and can be restored, so their history is preserved; readings can be deleted only with confirmation and recalculation.

  • Safety first, never a wall. Safety screens surface crisis resources and flag staff without ever blocking a person from finishing their intake.

  • Evidence-based instruments stay intact. The SSM domains and validated screeners are not editable per-org; that consistency is what makes your outcome data credible to funders.

  • Every number traces. Each measure in a funder report shows how it was tracked, figures are saved as they stood when you recorded them, and the report prints its own methodology.

Questions people ask

Who can see participant records?
Caseworkers see their own caseload and administrators see their organization. Lift Right's own System Admins can reach records directly for support, with no approval step.
Is anything deleted permanently?
Removing a user is a dated exit, and a participant is archived rather than deleted, so their history is preserved. Readings can be deleted only with confirmation, and progress is recalculated. Grant setup items such as goals and reporting periods can be deleted by an administrator.
Can we edit the validated instruments?
No. The Self-Sufficiency Matrix domains and the validated screeners are the same for every organization, which is what makes your outcome data credible to funders.
