What is a program in Lift Right?

A program is how work is grouped, and how a funder sees your outcomes. Each one is linked to the grant that funds it, when it is created or later, carries its own service areas, and has its own dashboard and caseworkers. Participants are enrolled into a program when their intake is reviewed, or afterwards from Ready to enroll on the dashboard.
Program tiles in canonical category order, each showing its client count (distinct enrolled members plus the org-wide intake inbound pool, since intake clients belong to no program until routed). Full-tier administrators create programs, optionally creating and linking the funding grant in the same flow. Administrators of either tier assign each program’s caseworkers. Clicking a tile selects that program, so the dashboard and lists narrow to its members, and Open dashboard on the tile goes straight to its dashboard. Opening Programs again returns you to the whole organization. System Admins get an org switcher here.

- What does the number on a program tile mean?
- The distinct people enrolled in that program, plus the org-wide inbound pool of people still in intake, since they belong to no program until routed.
- Who can create a program?
- Full-tier organization administrators, who can create and link the funding grant in the same flow. Program-tier administrators view and work inside programs but do not create or archive them.
- How do I step into a program?
- Click its tile to select it, or choose Open dashboard on the tile to go straight to that program's dashboard. The sidebar stays the same, and the dashboard and lists narrow to that program's members until you open the Programs page again.
