How do I build a funder report?

For: Org admin

Lift Right holds each funder's measures, targets and reporting periods. Figures your team already recorded are calculated for you, saved as they stood when you recorded them, and every measure shows how it was tracked. Where a measure falls short, the report asks why.

The one-click funder report, per grant:

  1. Goals: define the grant’s metrics (label, kind, type, target, unit, domain). Actuals auto-compute per period or can be entered manually.

  2. Reporting periods: create periods (type, dates, due date, status).

  3. Cohort: link and unlink enrolled clients.

  4. Impact snapshot: per-domain baseline-to-latest movement within the period window (baseline = the last reading strictly before period start, else the first reading by period end; latest = the most recent reading by period end), a composite lift figure, stability percentage, and connections made. Where a figure rests on fewer than 10 (clients for a domain, domain readings for the stability percentage), counts display instead of percentages (small-sample honesty).

  5. Narrative: accomplishments, challenges, lessons learned, next period, saved per period.

  6. Unmet need: the report includes an out-of-scope needs section: active service lines that no enrolled program funds and no active referral covers, limited to lines your organization runs no program in.

  7. Generate: a printable funder report (print styles isolate just the report), plus CSV (comma-separated values) and XLSX (Excel) exports.

Data & Insights (Outcomes page) is the org-wide version: reporting-period selector, KPI (key performance indicator) band, SSM domain progress with an n-weighted composite, completion rates by caseworker, demographics, and CSV exports.

Are the figures calculated for me?
Yes. Goals define each measure, actuals compute per reporting period from what your team already recorded, and every measure shows how it was tracked: your own note, or a line saying whether it was calculated from case records or entered by staff.
What is in the impact snapshot?
Per-domain movement from baseline to latest reading inside the period, a composite lift figure, stability, and connections made. Where a figure rests on fewer than ten, counts show instead of percentages.
Who can finalise or export a report?
Full-tier administrators. Program-tier administrators can view, draft, and save, but finalising or exporting carries the organization's signature and stays with the full tier.
